2nd International Conference “Science, Education, Innovations and Chemical Technologies - From Idea to Implementation 2023”

On November 23-25, R. Agladze Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Electrochemistry of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University will host the International Conference “Science, Education, Innovations and Chemical Technologies - from Idea to Implementation. 2023.” The aim of the conference is to share the results and achievements of the latest fundamental and technological research with representatives of broad and interdisciplinary scientific schools of chemistry and related fields; to plan possible joint research on the basis of research methodologies and experiences; to deepen partnership in order to create innovative technologies within framework of the regional socio-economic development strategy “Horizon Europe”; to find potential partners in the production/applied sector to develop their interest in financing scientific/applied projects.

The main themes of the conference are: 1. Nano-processes and nanotechnologies; 2. Fundamentals of mineral and secondary raw materials processing and technological aspects; 3. Green chemistry; 4. Promotion and commercialization of scientific innovations; 5 Energy.

Italian, Bulgarian, German, Japanese, Polish, Ukrainian, Armenian and Azerbaijani colleagues will participate in the event. Local students will also be actively involved in the event. The format of the conference is hybrid: it is possible to participate both in person and via the Zoom platform.

The participation of foreign and Georgian researchers in the work of the interdisciplinary conference is important for increasing the awareness of Georgian scientists’ scientific research in the international scientific space, which, in turn, will be a prerequisite for working on joint projects in the future.

Electronic materials of scientific products (collection of papers/reports of the international conference) created within the framework of the conference will be indexed in Google Scholar. A number of selected publications, with the support of Azerbaijani colleagues, will be published in the Scopus indexed journal - “Chemical Problems” (ISSN:2221-8688).

The conference “Modern Researches and the Prospects of Their Use in Chemistry, Chemical Technology and Related Fields” was dedicated in 2016 to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the R. Agladze Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Electrochemistry. The conference aroused the great interest of colleagues (both foreign and local), and this year’s conference also reflects the great desire of scientists to continue holding a conference of similar status in Georgia.

The co-sponsors of the conference are: CAPAROL LLC, Design and Construction Technological Institute - InnoSystems, Service Management Company (SMC).
